O Programa Educacional “Ouça as Cores da Vida” foi criado em 1997 pelo Núcleo de Audiologia Campinas, e tem o intuito de atender melhor às necessidades individuais de deficientes auditivos e usuários de próteses auditivas.

“Ouça as Cores da Vida” apresenta atualmente dois segmentos, que vem sendo implementados aos longo dos últimos anos.

O primeiro destina-se a usuários de próteses auditivas, seus familiares, médicos otorrinolaringologistas, fonoaudiólogos e profissionais afins. É composto por serviços fonoaudiológicos especializados, tais como Consultoria, Aconselhamento e Treinamento Auditivo, e inclui ainda a organização de eventos científicos nacionais e internacionais.

O segundo segmento é dirigido à comunidade, e conta com a criação do personagem Otacílio e de Programas de Capacitação para o Acolhimento do Deficiente Auditivo em estabelecimentos públicos e privados nas áreas de serviço, lazer e comércio.
